Holding steady as the 8th ranked All Ireland All Time Money List with $570,964 in total cash winnings, Alan Betson is known for his quick with and gallows humor. If they gave out bracelets for wit, his entire arm would be full of them. Many of his contemporaries in the poker community have said that he would be one of the few people they would make sure was at the game. A private person at the felt, there is little known about Betson except that he is a formidable opponent.
